6-nozzle media dispenser for culture tubes

Developed for plant science laboratories to significantly reduce media dispensing time

This system reduces manual labor time, dispensing errors and allows you to produce more media batches per day.

You only need to position a rack filled with empty tubes under the dispensing head, push the foot pedal or signal the optical eye, and the media is dispensed in a row of 6 tubes.

After this, simply move the dispensing head manually to the next row of tubes and repeat the steps to dispense your media.

Our system has 5 different basic versions:

  • A: Sterile media with a Lab Associates media preparator
  • B: Sterile media without a Lab Associates media preparator
  • C: Non-sterile media with membrane pump
  • D: Non-sterile media with peristaltic pump
  • E: Hybrid sterile/non-sterile media


Each model will allow placement of the tube rack at two different heights using an extra plate. This is useful when you need to dispense media in tubes with significant height differences, or for conicals. This system has been developed specifically to suit media with gelling agents, and to meet certain sanitary requirements for plant science laboratories. However, all models are suitable for media without gelling agents as well.

Customization options

All versions can be customized to fit your rack models for their dimensions and number of tube positions.
It is also possible to switch on/off a fixed number of nozzles for different tube racks.
When using media without gelling agents we can offer even more (custom) solutions.

System requirement: air compressor with minimum of 6 bar pressure capacity, no minimum airflow requirement, does not need to be oil-free.
